Students from across our Group recently took part in a home learning competition to enhance their English and mathematics skills, with 15 students scooping top prizes.
The Competition, run by leading e-learning technology provider, CENTURY, aimed to promote home learning and encourage independent study.
During March, students across the Group completed an impressive 104,737 questions, placing the Group fourth nationally amongst Further Education providers.
15 students from our Canterbury College, Broadstairs College, Dover Technical College, Folkestone College and EKC WorkHigher Business Unit were awarded £20 Amazon gift vouchers from CENTURY for their high engagement in the Competition, completing a staggering 26,880 questions between them.
"Participation in the initiative is increasing as students adapt to this new way of learning," commented Mathematics Advanced Practitioner, Shabana Raman, who continued: “It’s fantastic to see so many of our students engaged in the Competition and benefiting from the new skills and confidence they have gained through taking part."
