Students' Union

Our Students’ Union is here to help make your experience at our Sixth Form College memorable and well-rounded.

What do I get by belonging to the Students’ Union?

All EKC Sixth Form College students are automatically a member of the Students’ Union. Every course has a representative who feeds back what you want out of your learning experience.

Your Students' Union President

Bethany Lacey is the Students' Union President for the duration of the 22/23 academic year.

Your SU President is the lead voice in the representation of students at the College. They create and maintain a vibrant SU and ensure student engagement in things such as Class Rep meetings, Freshers Week and enrichment activities.

The President works in conjunction with Student Officers and liaises with relevant members of staff to publicise the opportunities and services that the SU provides.

By being part of the Students' Union, you can:

  • Get a TOTUM card, giving you discounts on food, fashion, technology, travel and more! 
  • Create and join clubs and societies that match your interests.
  • Run campaigns on issues that matter to you.
  • Go on a variety of trips to concerts, festivals, theme parks and more! You can also have a say in what trips you'd like to see run.
