ICT Functional Skills

Our ICT Functional Skills courses for adults develop the practical skills you need to confidently use a computer and digital software in everyday life and work. With technology becoming essential in many job roles and ever more prominent in personal life, our nationally recognised Functional Skills qualifications improve your employability and further study opportunities and give you the knowledge to succeed.

We offer a range of fully-funded short courses for all levels to boost your confidence and skills:

Entry Level 1, 2 & 3
Level 1

All learners are assessed on application and allocated to the correct course level.

What will I learn?

You will develop skills in:

Using Microsoft Office
Creating documents for business
Using the internet and email software

What will I achieve?

On completion of the course, you will achieve a nationally recognised Functional Skills qualification in ICT.

What may it lead to?

Functional Skills qualifications provide a stepping stone to work and further study opportunities. You may choose to progress onto one of our other qualifications or seek employment.

How will I learn?

Learning will be classroom based with support, teaching, and guidance from our tutors.

Entry Requirements

The courses are available to those aged 19 or above and are fully-funded for learners that have not previously achieved a GCSE grade A* - C / grade 4, or higher.
