We are committed to supporting students in order for them to overcome any financial barriers to learning.
Listed below are the types of support that may be available to help you with course-fees and related costs
Students within this age-range are automatically eligible for full government funding for all courses.
More details can be provided for you by the College Services Team.
Functional Skills, ESOL and all of our Distance Learning courses are fully funded by the Adult Education Budget, providing learners have lived in the UK/EU for the last three years, are not already in full-time education and live within our approved post-code district.
Level 3 courses such as Coding are fully funded providing it is the learners' first complete Level 3 qualification.
Access to Business and Web Application Development Level 5 are covered by the Advanced Learner Loan, which is not means-tested and does not usually need to be repaid as long as the learner subsequently completes Higher Education, see our Access to H.E FAQs page for more details.
For additional information on the Advanced Learner Loan click HERE or go visit the Gov.UK website.
All applications for financial support are treated as confidential. Any assistance granted is subject to the student maintaining good behaviour, punctuality and attendance.
Please be advised that the Bursary funds are limited and therefore we would advise that you apply as early as possible. We aim to support all eligible students where possible and consider applications made during the academic year, should an unforeseen situation arise. However, once the funds are exhausted, students may not automatically receive support.
