EKC IntoWork will play a leading role in developing the economic and social prosperity of East Kent, where ambitions in life and work are achieved through outstanding education and skills. There are four main areas of provision we deliver that are vital to supporting our communities:
- Community Learning, working in partnership with community and voluntary groups, providing accessible and flexible opportunities for individuals, families and households to engage in formal and informal learning within their communities.
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) provision, empowering individuals to progress into further learning and careers, and to make a positive contribution to their communities;
- Prison Education to enable offenders to be career ready and providing a flexible and responsive service to our partner prisons, aligned to the skills needs of East Kent; and
- Employability provision for adults to secure and develop sustainable careers, whilst meeting the needs of employers and partners such as Jobcentre Plus;
